The glass panels are 8 ft. x 2 ft. and 4 ft. x 2 ft. Donor names and letters were engineered from UV durable acrylic. The letter system custom finishing was pre-tested during the day and evening hours, to make sure it would be visible. During the day the letters, with front light from the sun, are easily visible. And in the evening hours when it's dark, the glass panels are LED edge-lit. Because of a special material finishing and coating, developed by SoCal Bronze, the letters "Pop Out" and are highly visible at night. Installation by SoCal Bronze included the application of an adhesive that will allow, if necessary, removal of letters without requiring aggressive abrasives; leaving no marks.
